SUPERCAR DREAM RIDES SUPERCAR SUNDAY
NOT ALL HEROS WEAR A CAPE

Whether you're into cars or not, we can all agree that supercars are beautiful and let's be honest - who wouldn't like to own one. Sadly not many of us will ever be able to afford one; but luckily for us there are many amazing and selfless people in Northern Ireland who own one, and would gladly take you out for a spin in it, and all that for a great cause.
"Supercar Dream Rides - Supercar Sunday" was held in aid of Action Mental Health on Sunday, September 2 at Boulevarrd Outlet in Banbridge, NI. Throughout the day dozens of supercar and other exotic vehicle owners offered passenger rides of a lifetime for kids and adults alike. The event was possible thanks to the wonderful car owners, marshals, DJ, volunteers and Patetrsons Electronics LTD.
At the first glance for many it may have seemed like any other car show/event out there, whilst in fact it was something much more. Let me explain: many of the vehicles present on the day would only ever be seen in expensive dealerships or private collections, not car shows; seeing these cars up close and personal, hearing them start was a privilege on it's own. Furthermore, getting a chance to actually take a seat in one of the dream supercars and actually be able to get out for a passenger ride was a unique experience for many that I'd like to think will never be forgotten.
Furthermore - whilst it was all smiles and fun for the passengers, we cannot ignore the risks of the selfless drivers. The owners of these beautiful cars risked it all - potential damage to their cars, their licences and money. So please - respect the cars and drivers at all car events, without them there would be nothing. Multiple owners were doing runs non stop all day putting huge stress on their vehicles and risking them overheating and damaging the engines. So from all of us a huge thank you to all the wonderful people that made this happen.
The variety of the cars on the day was amazing; there was something for everybody - Italian, German, British supercars, American muscle cars, Japanese performace cars - it was all there.
But if there was one car that stole the day it must be the stunning Lamborghini Aventador. Batman himself would gladly drive this wonderful Italian art work to work.
I hope that everybody enjoyed this day as much as I did and I am looking forward to next years event already! And again thanks to all the poepe that made it happen, so many kids could smile and have a memory to cherish.
I was captivated by your Supercar Sunday photos! The sleek lines, vibrant colors, and raw power of these vehicles truly shine through your lens. Your talent for capturing their essence is commendable.
