I've always been a supporter of charity events of any kind, but if it is a car related charity event – even
better! And that is exactly why I packed my camera bag
and attended the Antrim Car and Bike Show 2013.
Not only do all donations go to We
are Macmillan Cancer Support, but it is a show full of great banter,
interesting cars, various trade stands, DJ etc. It was held on 1st September
in Antrim, Junction 1 shopping outlet car park; surrounded by shops and mini
golf there are plenty of places for the wives and kids to enjoy themselves as
well while the boys have a chance to admire the cars.
There were loads of
gorgeous trophies to be won on the day, courtesy of Ironside Trophies &
Engraving, along with a raffle that took place and other various prizes to be
won. There were more than 100 cars on display to please any petrolheads taste,
including a truly stunning MK1 VW Golf for the dub people or an immaculate
Honda Civic FD2 Type R for the JDM fans as well as a stunning Audi TT RS for
the German boys.
There were a sadly only a few trikes and bikes on display as
well, but hopefully next year more bikes will be on display as I hope
the show will grow bigger and better each year.
