One of the largest and most
insane car shows in the Republic of Ireland - Japshow 2013 was held during the
IDC final Round of 2013 at Mondello Racing Circuit. For those who never heard
of it before - it is a gathering of some of the nicest Jap cars in this island.
What really amazed me was the variety - even if Japanese cars isn't your thing,
trust me, for the day they would be. There was something for everyone - proper
classics alongside the most modern Japanese cars on display.
However, for the organizers it
wasn't enough with the car park being packed with immaculate and ridiculously
insane cars, the best drifters in Europe on the track, no - they needed more -
time attack cars were pushing their limits round the circuit to achieve the fastest
time.
If that wasn't enough the world
famous stunt driver Terry Grant performed some of his crazy stunts in his Honda
Civic Type R and 1937 Ford Sedan. This man is proper nuts and he knows how to

Mondello Race Circuit transport
museum was opened for general public for a small fee to see some of the racing
gems living there. Crowds were entertained by RC drift cars, Monster PR folks,
people could try their hands at drifting go karts, or if you prefer it
virtually there was a huge gaming rig lorry for the rest.
Boyzone's Shane Lynch was in
centre of the attention in the Monster stand providing autographs for all his
fans.
I am 100% sure I will be back for
this next year, it is truly amazing car show.
