Nissan Silvia S15 From Heaven
If you are a proper petrol head in your heart you must own a proper JDM car before you die, and Paul from Northern Ireland agrees hence why he set himself out on a misson to buy a standard low miles Nissan Silvia S15.
This immaculate S15 was born in Japan in 1999 and was imported to UK within a few years and within a year of being on British soils Paul had to have it. It was completely unabused standard S15 Spec R with only 28,000 km on the clocks (now do the Maths - 12 year old car with that mileage, what does it make a year - 2,5k!!!!). Impressive, isn't it? And that shows on the car - it looks like it has just rolled out the factory doors.
Once the car was home Paul decided to carry out some modification work - a full Vertex drift kit was added along with Epracimg rear lights and clear repeaters.
To give the car some more road presence the car was dressed in Rota 18" 9.5 Rota GTR shoes and lowered on fully adjustable K-Sport coilovers.
Interior was spotless already, so all Paul decided to do was upgrade the standard head unit to a much nicer Alpine, install a Defi Boost gauge and upgrade to Nismo short shifter.
The Spec R already comes with a lovely figure of horse power under the hood, but it wasn't enough (is it ever?). So a Full Nismo exhaust system was installed, along with Tomei turbo elbow, downpipe and decat, Walbro Fuel pump, HKS air Filter, HKS blow off valve, Trust front mount intercooler, Greddy Hard Pipes, Cusco oil catch can, Japspeed manifold, Tomei 264 cams and Cusco Strut brace.
Paul is now happy with the way car sits and just enjoys it; and it never keeps a smile of his face when he is in it.
