That’s right; if you think Porsches are expensive and exclusive to the rich, think again. This stunning Porsche 911 Carrera Generation 2 costs half of what a modern GTD Golf would be; however, what you get is 10 times the fun.

I love the American classics, even if it is hard to explain why. One doesn’t buy a Mustang or Charger for their handling capabilities, or for the speed – we all agree on that. If a car enthusiast looked for a great driving experience they might consider a Lotus Elise; if it’d be comfort they desired, they’d go for a Mercedes Benz, but American cars, what good are they?!

I am really not that interested in the VW scene, nor would I ever choose a car show over a Rally if they clashed on the same date, yet there I was – GTINI Castlewellan 2015 instead of the Lurgan Park Rally. Why? Because for a reason I cannot really even explain this show has a magical atmosphere surrounding it and I wanted to be there; and I do not regret my choice.

Hat-trick for the French duo of Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia in the Rally Sardinia 2015. The reigning World champion claimed his third consecutive Rally Sardinia victory, recording the fastest times in 7 of 23 stages in his VW Polo WRC, whilst the biggest surprise of the weekend was the podium of the young kiwi driver Hayden Paddon in his WRC Hyundai i20.

Liberty Walk?! I'm sure that is a name you are all aware of, but just a few years ago it wasn't the household name it is now! Despite Kato-San running the Liberty Walk Tuning Shop in Nagoya, JP for over 20 years, it's only in recent years that he's hit the mainstream, and boy did he hit it hard!

IT’S MORE THAN A RALLY

Just days away from the WRC Sardinia it is time to look back at the WRC Sweden 2015. What was WRC Sweden like? To summarise it shortly – it was a F#!?in’ party; a festival of speed, courage and balls; a celebration of everything that is motorsport. Was it easy – no; was it worth it– hell yes!

Everybody enjoys to crack some good old Ford joke from time to time, but as a matter of fact there are more Ford enthusiasts here in UK than Ireland than America and Germany combined. Thousands of classic and modern Fords have been modified and restored on these shores, and what better way to demonstrate that than by hosting a massive Ford gathering.
