Honda Civic Type-R
In 2001 Honda created this second generation Honda Civic Type-R that was powered by K20A2 i-Vtec 2.0 NA engine, producing 200bhp for UK market and K20A 212bhp engine for Japan. This front wheel driven hot hatch had 6 gear close ratio gearbox and had 0-60 times of 6.4 seconds for UK model and 6.2 for JDM model. Japanese models were build in UK and shipped over for resale with extras like LSD, Championship white paint work etc. that European Market models missed out on. Honda Civic Type-R generation II won many "Hot hatch of the year" awards and became very popular across the globe, following the steps and fame of the generation I EK9 Honda Civic Type-R.
In 2004 EP3 received a facelift and in 2005 saw the arrival of this Premier Edition model which had Recaro Trendline
seats (similar to those found in the Anniversary Edition, only in red
and black rather than all red), a darker shade of fabric on the rear
seat centre sections, a Momo Steering Wheel, Red Carpet, "Type R"
embossed into the front brake calipers and privacy glass on the rear
windows. These were available in Milano Red, Nighthawk Black, Cosmic
Grey and Satin Silver. The production of these cars ended in 2006 when the new generation Type-R was born.

Ariel Atom
One of the craziest things ever to come from UK must be this phenomenal beast- Ariel Atom. This car is running a Honda's K20 Vtec 2.0 NA engine pumping out 250hp. Since the car weighs not much more than the driver you can imagine that driving this car feels like placing yourself on a rocket and igniting it and holding on it for the dear life. There were 2 more evil versions produced providing joys of 300 and 500bhp, but trust me 250bhp is more than any average Stig wannabe will need.

GTINI Castlewellan
Early July saw the annual return of all things Dub to Castlewellan
Forest Park. GTINI kept up the tradition of running one of the most
laid-back, family friendly shows in Northern Ireland. As well as the
usual offerings from the Volkswagen marque, ranging from classic
Beetles, Campers to the lastest boosted, DSG equipped Golfs and Audis,
GTINI extended the show to BMW-NI and Showerks.
The Audi, Seat and Skoda cousins were also out in force, with everything
from super-slammed TTs to hot hatch Ibizas. The mixture of hi-octane
fuel and smokey barbeques made for a heady aroma, as GTINI ran the
infamous car limbo competition, in order to prove how low you can go
really matters!

WRC Sardegna 2013
Rally d'Italia Sardegna 2013

Round 7, WRC Rally
Italy 2013 was hosted by the picturesque island of Sardinia from June 22 – 24,
near the beautiful coastal region of Costa Smeralda. Rally Italy switched its
location from mainland to Sardinia in 2004 and since then has always been one of
the most challenging rallies on the calendar with its fast, yet very narrow
roads. Stages are mainly gravel roads with very loose surface mixed with razor
sharp rocks and trees on the outside. Rally underwent major changes in 2013 by
moving the event from October to June and the rally layout got reduced to just
2 days; however the event still produces 304 competitive kilometres of action spread
across very challenging 16 stages in total. Rally HQ and service area were
located near the port of Olbia with the free practice and qualifying stage running
on Thursday morning over the 3.86km Monte Pinu stage, just west of Olbia.
